Christina Kay Piano Tuition

Piano lessons, Oxenford, Gold Coast and Redland Bay

Christina Kay

Gold Coast Teacher

Christina started teaching piano when she was 15 years old, and now has 27 years teaching experience. She gained her Bachelor of Music from the Conservatorium of Newcastle in 1996 and teaches students from 5 years of age right through to mature age students.

Christina's other qualifications include certificates 3 and 4 in Children's Services where she studied child development, and in January 2016 she completed a certificate in Supporting children with difficulties in reading and writing.  Most recently Christina completed a certificate in the Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is currently studying her Diploma of Music Technology through UNE.

Christina prepares students for SCSM or AMEB practical and AMEB theory exams, or you can simply learn for fun. Christina teaches students from complete beginner up to Certificate of Performance level.

Diploma exams are only available for students who have been consistently having lessons with the studio from a grade 4 level onwards. We no longer take new students at Diploma level.

Christina's most advanced students have gained entry to, or have completed Bachelor of Music courses at various Universities, many are now piano teachers. Other students are performers, both in Australia and overseas. Most importantly, my past students are still playing piano for fun and relaxation.
